A little different kind of post for today….
Today marks one year from my spinal fusion. The photo above was taken after the surgery. To say the last 365 days have been challenging would be an understatement. I’ve had really rough, long days and nights. But more and more I’m starting to feel like myself again.
I’m incredibly grateful to Lindsey, the boys, my Dad, Mom, Brother and in-laws for being such an immense help in so many different ways. Also Im thankful for Dr Abode and his team at Mayo for a great experience and always being available to help.
I’m hopeful to continue my road to feeling better and if I’ve learned anything over the past year; be easy on yourself, everyone travels their own personal journey.
